Earvin "Magic" Johnson won Championships in High School, College and the NBA.
Johnson led Michigan State to the NCAA Championship in 1979 and then was taken by the Los Angeles Lakers with the first pick in the NBA Draft.
"Magic" led the Lakers to five Championships; he won three Most Valuable Player Awards and played in 12 All-Star games. His NBA statistics are amazing. He averaged better than 19 points, more than 7 rebounds and better than 11 assists per game.
In the fall of 1991, when test revealed that Earvin Johnson was HIV positive, he retired from the NBA. Johnson made a couple of short-lived comebacks and briefly coached the Lakers.
These days Johnson is a very successful entrepreneur.
